Enrique Arturo Diemecke: Mexico in the world
The mexican conductor and composer, Enrique Arturo Diemecke, takes the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra to Russia. The tour will take place in June and will include presentations in the Festival of the World Symphony Orchestras, which is considered one of the most important musical events in the country.
This tour comes in times when the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra has been gaining international popularity and prestige under the leadership of Maestro Diemecke. „I feel proud to take the Bogota Philharmonic to Russia, considered one of the cultural centers of the world” said the mexican conductor.
Maestro Diemecke is one of the most renowned mexican conductors in the world. He leads the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra of Teatro Colon in Argentina, the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra in Colombia, as well as the Symphony Orchestras of Long Beach (California) and Flint (Michinga) in the United States.
With a very tight agenda, Maetro Diemecke continues working actively in the american continent, Europe and Asia. He opened this season conducting the opening concert of the year with the Residentie Orkest in The Hague, Netherlands and engagement highlights with the Symphony Orchestas in Australia, Spain, Brazil, Italy, Puerto Rico, Poland, Slovakia, Romania and Russia.
Apart from his very intensive activities and his frequent trips throghout the world, Maestro Diemecke is also an accomplished composer and orchestral arranger. His most recent concert for Marimba and Orchestra „Fiesta Otoñal” had a world tour premiere in Russia, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Italy, Spain, USA and will continue in Slovakia, Peru and Brazil in this year.
Nominee to the Latin Grammy Awards and awarded with the prestigious Grand Prix de l’Academie du Disque Lyrique in several occassions including the Bruno Walter Orpheus d’Or Prize for „Best Opera Conductor”, and having recorded music with the main recording labels in the world, including Sony, Deutsche Grammophone, Lyric,Dorian and Emi, Enrique Arturo Diemecke continues to be one of the cultural Ambassadors of music in the world.
